But, note that OpenCandy based installers often base offers based on what is already installed on your computer, and you may see more than one offer during the installation process.
Here's what was offered to me during the installation process. So, just be careful to check the boxes that you do not accept any extras offered during the installation process. I just checked the box labeled "I do not accept" on that offer screen, and then clicked the Install button, and only the main CDBurnerXP program was installed. For example, in my case, it offered to install a browser addon named "Clean Water Action Reminder". IOW, you can "opt out" of any extras it offers you during the installation process. But, it did present options for additional software, where I needed to click a check box labeled "I do not accept" to prevent it's installation. In this case, I didn't see a Custom versus Express installation option presented. So, if you use an Express versus Custom installation with software you download, and just click "Next, Next, Next) without paying attention, don't be surprised if you have adware issues later. read the "fine print" in the license agreements when installing software, and be careful to "opt out" of any extras if you don't want an adware infested computer, as many developers and download sites use installers with adware included by default now) When you read the EULA you'll need to agree to in order to continue the installation, it indicates it's using OpenCandy. I just did a test install of it under OpenSUSE 13.1 (a Linux distro I use most of the time as my desktop's Primary OS, setup in a multi-boot config with Win 8.1 and another Linux distro) with Wine installed (Wine allows you to install many Windows programs in Linux) and yes, it does use an OpenCandy related installer.
